A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. I TO THE JOINT POWERS
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BROOKINGS AND CITY OF BERESFORD TO
PROVIDE PERSONAL COMMUNICATION SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brookings, South Dakota as
follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings and the City of Beresford are parties to a
Joint Powers Agreement, dated July 6, 1999, to provide personal communication
services, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings and the City of Beresford now desire to
amend the above-mentioned July 6, 1999 Joint Powers Agreement between Brookings
and Beresford pursuant to Amendment No. I, a true copy of which is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit"A",
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brookings, South Dakota, as follows:
A. That Amendment No. I to the Joint Powers Agreement between the
City of Brookings and the City of Beresford to provide personal
communication services is approved; and
B. That the Mayor and City C1erk are authorized to execute
Amendment No. I to the Joint Powers Agreement on behalf of the
City of Brookings.
