Brookings City Council
February 27, 2002
The Brookings City Council held a strategic planning session on Wednesday, February 27,
2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Brookings Inn Convention Center with the
following members were present: Mayor Virgil Herriott, Council Members Mike
McClemans, Tom Bozied, ICeri Weems, Scott Munsterman, Doris Roden and Sam Artz.
City Manager Michael Williams, City Clerk Shari Thornes, and facilitator Barbara
Forinash were also present. Mayor Herriott called the meeting to order 8:00 a.m.
The City Council discussed Governance and Ends Policies, Key Performance Areas, and
Outcomes. No action was taken. The City Council recessed at 11:45 am to attend a joint
meeting with the Brookings County Commission and Brookings School Board. No action
was taken. Mayor Herriott left the meeting at 2:00 p.m. Motion was made by Bozied,
seconded by Munsterman, to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
