Brookings City Council
October 12, 2001
The Brookings City Council convened in a special meeting with the Brookings Area
MultiPlex Board at noon on Friday, October 12, 2001, at the Research and Technology
Center with the following members present: Mayor Virgil Herriott, Council Members
Tom Bozied, Scott Munsterman, Mike McClemans, Doris Roden and Keri Weems.
Council Member Sam Artz was absent. City Manager Mike Williams and City Attorney
Steve Britzman were also present.
Topics discussed included an update on the current tenant status and management of the
Research and Technology Cemer; a status report on MultiPlex activities; discussion
regarding the vision and definitions for success for the MultiPlex; economic impact
projections for the MultiPlex; and future quarterly meetings commencing in January
2002. No action taken.
Meeting adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
