Brookings City Council
June 29, 2001
The Brookings City Council convened in special session on Friday, June 29, 2001 at
12:15 p.m. in City Hali with the following members gresent: Mayor Virgil Herriott,
Council Members Mike McClemans, Tom Bozied, Keri Weems, Doris Roden, Scott
Munsterman and Sam Artz. City Manager Michael Williams was also present.
Soccer Grading Proiec� Motion was made by Weems, seconded by Artz, to award the
bid to Rodney Lowe Construction in the amount of$159,207.20 for the Brookings Soccer
Complex grading project. Other bids received: Bates Construction Company
$190,111.50;Halstead's Inc. $279,120.90; Rounds Construction $466,400.43. A11
present voted yes; motion carried.
Adiournment: Motion to adjourn was made by Weems, seconded by Munsterman.
Meeting adjourned at 12:17 p.m.
