Planning Session Minutes
April 2, 2001
The Brookings City Council held a planning session on Monday, Apri12, 2001 at 5:30
p.m. in Brookings City Ha11. Mayor Virgil Herriott, Council Members Nate Bibby, Tom
Bozied, Keri Weems, Mike McClemans, Sam Artz and Bill Davidson were present.
Mike Williams, City Manager, and Steve Britzman, City Attorney, were present.
Mayor Herriott called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Motion was made by Artz,
seconded by Weems, to set the adjournment time at �:30 p.m. All present voted YES;
motion carried. Motion was made by Davidson, seconded by McClemans, to change
the adjournment time to 8:00 p.m. All present voted YES; except Weems, motion
carried.
Executive Session for Legal Reasons. Motion was made by Bozied, seconded by
Weems, to enter executive session for legal reasons pertaining to the Mills Construction
and the Miller, Sellers&Heroux mediation. All present voted YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Davidson, seconded by Weems, to leave executive session. All
present voted YES; motion carried. No other action was taken.
The Council discussed in open session the 2020 Comprehensive Plan and Liquor License
Transfers. No action was taken.
Motion was made by Davidson, seconded by Weems, to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. All present
voted YES; motion carried.
