City Council Meeting
Wednesday,November 1, 2000
4:00 P.M.
The City Council held a special meeting on Wednesday,November 1, 2000, in
Brookings City Hall. Mayor Virgil Herriott,Nate Bibby, Tom Bozied, Keri Weems,
Mike McClemans, Bill Davidson and Sam Artz were present. Mike Williams, City
Manager, was also present along with Bernard Morris, Railroad Safety Consultant, via
telephone.
Motion was made by McClemans, seconded by Bibby, to enter into executive
session to discuss strategy and negotiations issues regarding DM&E. City Manager,
Mike Williams, Bernard Morris via telephone and Jan Duchscherer, filling in for City
Cierk, were also present. Bibby left the meeting at 6:35 p.m. Motion was made by
-, Bozied, seconded by Davidson to go out of executive session. All present voted YES;
motion carried.
Motion was made by Bozied, seconded by Davidson,to adjourn. All present
voted YES; motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
