Brookings City Council
Special Meeting Minutes
October 27, 2000
The City Council held a special meeting on Friday, October 27,2000 in Brookings City Hall. Mayor
Virgil Herriott,Nate Bibby, Tom Bozied, Keri Weems, Mike McClemans, Bill Davidson and Sam Artz
were present. Mike Williams, City Manager,and Steve Britzman, City Attorney, were also present.
Motion was made by Herriott, seconded by Davidson,to enter executive session to discuss strategy and
negotiation issues regarding DM&E. Bernard Monis, the City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk �
were present. All present voted yes; motion carried. Bibby left the meeting at 11:00 a.m. McClemam
left the meeting at 11:15 a.m. Bibby returned at 12:00 p.m. McClemans returned at 12:10 p.m.
Herriott left at 12:15 p.m. Motion was made by
Bibby, seconded by Davidson, to go out of executive session. All present voted yes; motion carried.
Motion was made by Bozied, seconded by Davidson,to adjourn. All present voted yes except Bibby and
Artz. Meeting adjourned at 12:45 p.m.
