Council Chambers April 3, 2000
City of Brookings
The City Council convened in special session at 5:30 p.m.with the following members
present: Herriott(late),McClemans,Bozied,Bibby,Davidson,Weems,and Artz.
Michael Williams, City Manager,A1 Thelen, Interim City Manager,and Steve Britzman, City
Attorney,were also present.
Contract with Greystone Construction for Construction Mana�ement Services for the Ice
Facili . Motion was made by Bozied, seconded by McClemans,to table unnl Monday,
April 10, 2000. All members present voted NO, except Bozied voted YES;motion failed.
Motion was made by Davidson, seconded by Artz,to approve the contract with Greystone
Construction pending review of the City Attorney. Such review to be brought back at next
Monday night's meeting for final approval. Motion was made by Weems, seconded by
Herriott,to amend the motion to direct the City Attorney and City Manager to poll their
resources,look at the contract,and present any changes for final approval at Monday night's
meeting. On the amendment, all present voted yes;motion carried. The original motion as
amended,all present voted yes;except Bozied voted NO;motion carried.
Motion was made by Bibby,seconded by Herrio ,to adjourn at 7:0 .m.�
