Commission Chambers March 30, 1999
City of Brookings
The City Commission convened in regular session at 2:00 PM with the following members
present: Klavetter, Murra, Plumart, Artz and Mayor Hauschild
Alan Glover, Attorney was present.
Minutes of the regular meeting held March 23, 1999 were read and approved.
Motion was made by Artz, seconded by Plumart approving the bills and claims.

Motion was made by Plumart, seconded by Murra approving the agenda.
Motion was made by Artz, seconded by Murra approving authorization to advertise for bids for
"An Automated Side Loader Refuse Compactor"for the Solid Waste Collection Department. All
members voted YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Artz, seconded by Murra approving authorization to advertise for bids for
"A Current Model Truck Chassis for a 24 Cubic Yard, Automated Refuse Body" for the Solid Waste
Collection Department. All members voted YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Artz, seconded by Murra approving authorization to advertise for bids for
"1600 Universal Automated Refuse Carts"for the Solid Waste Collection Department. All members
voted YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Klavetter, seconded by Plumart approving seven(7) abatement
applications involving public property. All members voted YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Murra, seconded by Artz approving an abatement application for the
property located on Lot 1, Block 10 Skinners Second Addition. (512 13'�'Ave.)All members voted
YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Klavetter, seconded by Murra approving an abatement application for the
property located on the N 80' of W 84' of Lot A,N 68' of W 57.5' of E 111.5' of Lot A in the replat of
E, Block 1 Maynes Addition. (512 3`d Ave.) All members voted YES; motion carried.

Motion was made by Murra, seconded by Klavetter approving electrician license for T. K.
Electric of Mitchell, SD. All members voted YES; motion carried.
Motion was made by Murra, seconded by Klavetter mo ding into executive sessioii for legal and
contractual reasons. All members voted YES; motion carried.
Commission meeting adjourned.
