Br okings City Council
Thur day, November 3, 2005
The Brookings City Council held a joint m eting with the Brookings Municipal Utilities Board on
Thutsday,November 3,2005 at 4:00 p.m., at the Utilities Building with the following members
present: Mayor Scott Munsterman, Counc Members Tom Bezdichek,Michael Bartley,Julie
Whaley, Ginger Thomson (left at 8:45 p.m),Tim Reed, and Michael Reitz. City Manager Alan
Lanning, City Attorney Steve Britzman,an City Clerk Shari Thornes were also present.
Executive Session. A motion was made y Reed, seconded by Whaley,to enter Executive Session
to discuss competitive pricing strategies at :00 p.m.with the City Attorney,City Manager,City
Clerk,Brookings Municipal Utilities Board Members, and BMU sta.ff pzesent. All present voted yes;
motion carried. A motion was made by R ed, seconded by Whaley, to leave executive session at
8:10 p.m. All present voted yes;motion c ried. No other action was taken.
Executive Session. A motion was made y Whaley, seconded by Thomson, to enter Executive
Session to discuss competitive pricing stra gies at 8:20 p.m.with the City Attorney, City Managex,
and City Clerk present. All present voted es;motion carried. A motion was made by Reed,
seconded by Reitz,to leave executive sessi n at 9:20 p.m. All present voted yes;motion carried. No
other action was taken.
Adiourn. A motion was made by Reitz, s conded by Whaley, to adjourn. .All present voted yes;
motion carried. Meeting adjouraned at 9:20 p.m.
