Brookings City Council
Thursday, October 27, 2005
The Brookings City Council held a joint meeting with the Brookings Municipal Utilities Boa,rd on
Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 4:00 p.m.,at the Utilities Building with the following members
present: Mayor Scott Munsterman, Council Membexs Tom Bezdichek,Michael Bartley (atrived at
4:05 p.m.),Julie Whaley, Ginger Thomson (arrived at 4:06 p.m.),Tim Reed, and Michael Reitz. Ciry
Manager Alan Lanning, City Attorney Steve Britzman, and City Clerk Shari Thornes were also
present. '
Reschedule Meetin�. A motion was made by Reitz, seconded by Reed, to cancel the November
8�'meeting and reschedule for November 15�'. All present voted yes; (I'homson and Baxdey not
present),motion carried.
Executive Session. A motion was made by Baxtley,seconded by Reed,to enter Executive Session
to discuss competitive pricing strategies at 4:05 p.m.with the City Attorney,City Manager, City
Clerk,Brookings Municipal Utilities Board Members, and BMU staff present. All pxesent voted yes;
(Thomson was not present) motion carried. A motion was made by Reed, seconded by Whaley,to
leave executive session at 7:00 p.m. All present voted yes;motion carried. No other action was
taken.
Adjourn. A motion was made by Reed, seconded by Whaley, to adjourn. All present voted yes;
motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
