If the City continues to fund the center$40,000 below the operating cost, the Board anticipates the cash gap will continue. The Center is not air conditioned and it loses revenue 4 to 5 months per year due to unde utilization. They projected an additional $80,000 net if the building was air conditioned. Promotion of the Center can occur through self-promotion, co-promotion, or straight rental. , They discussed the Center"self-promoting" events.
