Brookings City Council
June 24,2003
The Brookings City Council convened in a joint session with representatives of the Brookings
County Commission and Brookings Board of Education at noon on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at
the Brookings Elks Club with the following members present: Mayor Scott Munsterman,
Council Members Tom Bozied, Tim Reed, Julie Whaley, Tom Bezdichek, Doris Roden, and
Mike McClemans. City Manager Michael Williams and City Attorney Steve Britzman were
also present. Topics of discussion included a Consolidated Board of Equalization, E911 Budget,
Liquor Licenses and Operating Agreements, and a new Fire Rescue Truck. A motion was made
by City Council Member Roden, seconded by County Commissioner Negstad, to approve the
joint E911 2004 budget. All present voted yes; motion carried.
