Brookings City Council
May 22,2006
The Brookings City Council held a meeting on Monday,May 22,2006 at 2:30 p.m., at City Hall with
the following members present: Mayor Scott Munsterxnan, Council Members Tom Bezdichek,
Michael Bartley,Julie Whaley,Tim Reed and Michael Reitz (arrived at 4:30 p.m.). Ginger Thomson
was absent. City Manager Alan Lanning, City Clerk Shari Thornes, and Human Resources Director
Donna Langland were also present.
Executive Search Firm. T'he City Council conducted phone interviews with the following firms
for the city manager recruitment process: The Brixneyer Group from Hopkins,MN,Waters-Oldani
Executive Recruitment fxom Dallas,TX;and Alliance Consulting from Long Beach, CA. No action
was taken.
Adjourn. A motion was made by Whaley, seconded by Reed,to adjourn. All present voted yes;
motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:21p.m.
