Brookings City Council
July 14, 2008
The Brookings City Council held a special emergency meeting on Monday,July 14, 2008 at 3:00
p.m., at City Hall with the following membexs present: Mayor Scott Munstetman (via phone);
Council Members Julie Whaley,Mike Bardey, Ryan Brunner,Tim Reed, Mike McClemans (left at
3:42 p.m.),and Tom Bezdichek. City Manager Jeffrey Weldon,City Attorney Steve Britzman,and
City Clexk Shari Thornes were also pxesent.
Deputy Mayor Tun Reed called the meeting to oxder at 3:11 p.m.
Executive Session. A motion was made by Bartley, seconded by Whaley,to enter into executive
session at 3:11 p.m. for consulting with legal counsel or reviewing communications from legal
counsel about contractual matters with Council,Manager,Attorney and Clexk present. All pxesent
voted yes;motion carried. A motion was made by Bardey, seconded by Whaley, to exit executive
session at 3:44 p.m. All present voted yes;motion carried.
Adi_ourn. A motion was made by Whaley, seconded by Brunner, to adjourn. All present voted yes;
motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 3:44 p.m.
