3. Consent Agenda Items:
A. Adoption of the agenda.
B. Approval of the February 25, February 26, February 27, March 4, and March 5 2002
minutes.
C. Action to authorize the sale of three police cars.
D. Action to approve Resolution No. 08-02, a Resolution authorizing final change order

(CCO#1 Final) for P3313(00) PCEMS 6276 (Main Avenue South/12 Street South
Traffic Signal Project).
E. Action on Resolution No. 10-02, a resolution authorizing transfer of funds.

4. SDSU Representative Report.
5. Invitation for a citizen to schedule time on the Council agenda for an issue not listed.

Council Meetings: City Council action meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m. and City Council planning sessions are
held the first Monday each month at 5:30 p.m.
Materials for Council: Please provide 10 copies of any handouts for the Council. Copies must be provided to the City Council (7), City Manager, City
Attorney, and City Clerk.

PUBLIC HEARINGS/ORDINANCES:
6. Introduction and first reading on Ordinance 03-02, an ordinance imposing a municipal sales
tax of one (1%) percent upon sales of establishments where the public is invited to eat, dine or
purchase and carry out prepared food for immediate consumption in the city of Brookings,
South Dakota.
Action: Motion to approve first reading– Roll Call
7. Introduction and first reading on Ordinance 04-02, for a Conditional Use to establish an
apartment use in a Residence R-2 District, the former St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Lots 1-

8, Block 5, Skinner’s Second Addition, also known as 910, 922 and 924 4 Street.
Action: Motion to approve first reading– Roll Call
OTHER BUSINESS:
8. Action to terminate a lease agreement for the Larson Ice Arena.
