Call to order and Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Roll Call by Clerk. 3. Consent Agenda Items: A. Adoption of the agenda. B. Approval of the February 11, 2002 minutes. C. Action to award bids for a golf cart lease. D. Action to appoint Dave Kurtz to the Planning Commission. E. Action on Resolution No. 04-02, declaring three police cars surplus property. F. Action on Resolution No. 07-02, declaring the Jaws of Life surplus property. G. A request for an abatement has been received from Sean Lesnar, for 1906 Council Ridge Road, Lot 80, Santee Village, for a portion of the 2001 property taxes in the amount of $722.75. The County Director of Equalization recommends approval. Action: Motion to approve consent agenda – Roll Call 4. SDSU Representative Report. 5. Invitation for a citizen to schedule time on the Council agenda for an issue not listed. Addressing the Council: Persons addressing the Council shall use the microphone at the podium. Please state your name and address. Presentations are limited to 5 minutes. Meeting Assistance: If you require assistance, alternative formats and/or accessible locations consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact the City ADA Coordinator at 692-6281 at least 3 working days prior to the meeting. Council Meetings: City Council action meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m. and City Council planning sessions are held the first Monday each month at 5:30 p.m. Materials for Council: Please provide 10 copies of any handouts for the Council. Second reading and action on Ordinance 02-02, an Ordinance Entitled “An Ordinance Supplementing The Annual Appropriation Ordinance As Made For The Year 2002 By Ordinance No. 14-01 And For The Purpose Of Providing For Additional Funds For The Operation Of The City”, And Declaring An Emergency. Action: Motion to Approve – Roll Call OTHER BUSINESS: 7. Action on appointments to the Senior Citizen Center Ad Hoc Committee. Action: Motion to approve – Roll Call 8. Presentation on the Third B. Action: No action - informational 9. Discussion regarding the Hospital Board appointment policy. Action: No action 10. Discussion and possible action to appoint an ex-officio to the Brookings Hospital Board and discussion and possible introduction and first reading on an Ordinance revising the composition, appointment and criteria for appointment of members of the Brookings Hospital and Brookview Manor Board of Trustees.
