Action on Resolution 34-03 authorizing the Summer Arts Festival Committee to have exclusive use of Pioneer Park from July 8 to 14, 2003. Action to approve bids on surplus police car. Action on Resolution 36-03 approving a vacation on an easement for Lots 10, 11, & 12, Block 4, Lots 1,2,3 and 4 of Block 9, Pheasant’s Nest Addition. Motion to approve – Roll Call 9. Public hearing and action on Ordinance No. 14-03, an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance pertaining to a Business B-5 Planned Commercial District. Introduction and first reading on Ordinance No. 17-03, an Ordinance Entitled “An Ordinance Authorizing a Supplemental Appropriation to the 2003 Budget for the Purpose of purchasing a Fire Department Heavy Rescue Truck for the City of Brookings. Action: Motion to approve first reading – Roll Call 12. Introduction and first reading on Ordinance No. 16-03, an ordinance rezoning the W312’, N1320’ in the NE ¼ of Section 1-T109N-R50W from an Agricultural A District to a Residence R-1B District (17th Avenue South and 20th Street South) Action: Motion to approve first reading, 2nd reading on 6/24 – Roll Call 13. Introduction and first reading on Ordinance No. 15-03, an ordinance rezoning a portion of McClemans Addition in the SW ¼ of Section 36-T110N-R50W from a Residence R-3A District to a Residence R-1B District and Business B-2 District (7th Avenue South and 20th Street South) Action: Motion to approve first reading, 2nd reading on 6/24 – Roll Call Other Business: 14. Introduction and first reading on Ordinance No. 18-03, an Ordinance granting a franchise to Mediacom Minnesota LLC, to construct, operate, and maintain a Cable Television System in the City of Brookings, South Dakota, setting forth conditions accompanying the grant of the franchise; providing for regulation and use of the system; and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions.
