4:00 p.m. WORK SESSION – NOTE EARLY START TIME
Work sessions are open to the public. During the work session the city staff would brief the council on items
for that particular meeting, introduce future topics, and provide a time for Council members to introduce topics.
1. Federal Aviation Administration Update.
Overall process update

Action to approve the purpose & needs statement (action item)
2. Update on capital estimates
for equestrian events at Swiftel Center.

5. City Council Member introduction of topics for
future discussion.
Any Council member may request discussion of any issue at a future meeting only. Items can not be added for action at this meeting. A motion and second is required
stating the issue, requested outcome, and time. A majority vote is required.

4. Action to approve the following Consent Agenda Items *
A. Agenda.

C. Action to hold special city council meetings on November 5, 6, and 7.
D. Action on recycling bids.

to approve a Letter of support for the SDSU Enterprise Institute – EDA application for grant funds and require city support for the application.

Matters appearing on the Consent Agenda are expected to be non-controversial and will be acted upon by the Council at one time, without discussion, unless a member of the Council or
City Manager requests an opportunity to address any given item. Items removed from the Consent Agenda will be discussed at the beginning of the formal items. Approval by the Council
of the Consent Agenda items means that the recommendation of the City Manager is approved along with the terms and conditions described in the agenda supporting documentation.

to Speed Zones with Certain Amendments Thereto. (This ordinance will change the speed limit on Highway 14 to coincide with the speed limit change by the DOT)
