4:00 P.M. WORK SESSION
Work sessions are open to the public. During the work session the city staff would brief the council on items for that particular
meeting, introduce future topics, and provide a time for Council members to introduce topics.
1. Official canvassing of the April 10, 2007 municipal election ballot.
2. Presentation
on large residential development requirements by Dan Hanson, Planning & Zoning Administrator.
3. Presentation of the City of Brookings Annual Financial Reports.
4. Presentation on
Performance Measurements & Budgeting for Outcomes by Rita Thompson.
5. Update on Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District project.
6. Update on Railroad Ad Hoc Committee by Council Member
Reitz.
7. 6:00 p.m. Meeting Review:
A. Changes to agenda.
B. Questions from Council.
8. City Clerk Reports:
Topic introduction for future agendas
Briefing on upcoming council invitations
and obligations
9. City Council Member introduction of topics for future discussion.
Any Council member may request discussion of any issue at a future meeting only. Items can not
be added for action at this meeting. A motion and second is required stating the issue, requested outcome, and time. A majority vote is required.

Action to approve Resolution 29-07, authorizing
the City Manager to sign an operating agreement with Cubby's Sports Bar & Grill (expires 5/13/07).
Action to authorize the Mayor to sign a Wireless Phase I and Phase II Supplement of
E-911 Service Agreement.
Action on Resolution 30-07, declaring surplus property: One (1) 1978 Ford F600 Single Axle Dump Truck Chassis and Box serial #F61EVCE001538.
