Brookings City Council
September 17, 2013
The Brookings City Council held a study session on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 5:00 p.m., at
City Hall with the following members present: Mayor Tim Reed, Council Members Jael Thorpe,
lohn Kubal, Mike McClemans, Ope Niemeyer and Keith Corbett. Council Member Tom
Bezdichek and City Attorney Steve Britzman were absent. City Manager Jeff Weldon and City
Clerk Shari Thornes were also present.
Discussion topics: Brookings Municipal Utilities Quarterly Financial Report, Work Force
Development (quarterly updates to council will be scheduled and BEDC will pursue a billboard
in Wiese Industrial Park), and City Council Ex-Officio Reports.
Adiourn. A motion was made by Corbett, seconded by McClemans,to adjourn. All present
voted yes; motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m.
