Brookings City Council
August 20, 2013
The Brookings City Counci) held a study session on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., at City
Hall with the following members present: Mayor Tim Reed, Council Members John Kubal, Mike
McClemans, Tom Bezdichek, Ope Niemeyer and Keith Corbett. Council Member lael Thorpe
was absent. City Attorney Steve Britzman, City Manager Jeff Weldon, and City Clerk Shari
Thornes were also present.
Discussion topics: Proposed 2014 Budget, City Charter Review, and City Council Ex-Officio
Reports. There was consensus to hold an open forum on the City Charter at the next meeting.
Adiourn. A motion was made by Corbett, seconded by Kubal,to adjourn. All present voted
yes; motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
