A Resolution Authorizing Change Order No. 3 for
Dakota Nature Park Phase V, Paving; Clark Drew Construction, Inc.
Be It Resolved by the City Council that the following change order be allowed for Dakota Nature
Park Phase V, Paving:
Construction Change Order No. 3: provide black dirt before end of construction season
that Bowes Construction did not have truck and personnel to complete. Proposal
includes hours for CDC truck,two Prussman trucks and one Winter's truck. This does
include dirt hauled by Bowes but not included in the previous change order under the
Bowes contract.
Clark Drew Construction, Inc.
Clark Drew Construction =19.75 hrs @ $85 per hr. =$1,679.00
Bowes Construction =20.5 hrs @ $85 per hr. =$1,743.00
Subtotal:$3,422.00
Bonding @ $10 per$1000=$34.00
SD Excise Tax @ 2%=$69.00
0/P @ 8%=$282.00
Lump Sum Total=$3,807.00
There will be a total addition of$3,807.00
Contract history:
$209,750.00 original contract sum
$11,328.00 added from previous Change Orders
$224,885.00 new contract amount after Change Order No. 3
Passed and approved this 10th day of December, 2013.
