Resolution Awarding Bids on Airport Hay Lease
Whereas, the City of Brookings opened bids for approximately 57 acres of Airport Hay Lease for
the airport property located in Sections 26, 27 and 28,T110, R50W, on Tuesday, November 12,
2013 at 1:30 PM at the Brookings City& County Government Center; and
Whereas,the City of Brookings has received the following bids for Airport Hay Lease: LNJ Farms
& Ranch, Aurora, SD-$137.76/acre; Oines Farms, LLC, Brookings, SD-$70.00/acre;Jeff
Jackson, Brookings, SD -$65.00/acre; and JR Farms, Inc., Volga, SD-$45.00/acre.
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved that the high bid of LNJ Farms & Ranch, Aurora, SD for$137.76
per acre be accepted.
Passed and approved this 26th day of November, 2013.
