Resolution For Industrial Park Grant Agreement
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has identified the need to construct certain streets in the
Telkamp Industrial Addition to better serve the area businesses;and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the State of South Dakota that the project is eligible
for an Industrial Park Grant; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings will secure the required right-of-way for the
construction of the project;and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings agrees to maintain the street for its useful life;and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings to provide a 20% local match for street construction
costs,plus pay all engineering and administrative costs associated with said project;and
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooking duly authorizes the City
Manager of the City of Brooking to sign all documents for the Industrial Park Grant Agreement
between the SD Department of Transportation and the City of Brookings.
This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
