Declaring Surplus Property
Whereas, the City of Brookings is the owner of the following described equipment formerly
used at the City of Brookings Police Department:
One (I) 2005 Dodge Durango Police Vehicle, VIN #1 B4HS38N I 2F 1 56172
One (I) 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Vehicle, VIN #2FAFP7I W06X 155035
One (I) 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Vehicle, VIN #2FAFP7 I W 17X 1 57457
Whereas in the best financial interest, it is the desire of the City of Brookings to sell same as
surplus property;
Whereas, the City Manager hereby authorized to sell said surplus property.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the governing body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota,
that this property be declared surplus property according to SDCL Chapter 6-13. The Dodge
Durango and Ford Crown Victoria police vehicles have been replaced by two new Ford Crown
Victoria police cars.
Passed and approved this 15`h day of December, 2009.
