Resolution Declaring Fire Department Equipment as Surplus
Whereas, the City of Brookings is the owner of the following described equipment formerly
used at the City of Brookings Fire Department:
TNT Rescue Tools to be used as trade-in on heavy hydraulic rescue tools.
4-Single-stage Rams 2—Multi-stage Rams
2—Gas Powered Two Tool Simultaneous Pumps 2—Cutters
1—Confined Space Cutter 2—Spreaders
2—240v Two Tool Simultaneous Pumps 4—Pump Dump Valves
1—Chain and Shackle Kit 2—Ram Extensions
4—30' Hydraulic Hoses 4—100' Hydraulic Hoses
Whereas, in the best financial interest, it is the desire of the City of Brookings to sell or trade
same as surplus property;
Whereas, the City Manager is hereby authorized to sell said surplus property; and
Whereas,the City Manager is hereby authorized to appoint three qualified appraisers to
appraise the value of the property.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the governing body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota,
that this property be declared surplus property according to SDCL Chapter 6-13.
