AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS PERTAINING TO DENSITY AND YARD REGULATIONS IN THE
INDUSTRIAL I-1R DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT ARTICLE III AND VI, SECTION 50.31.000 OF CHAPTER 50, THE
1994 REVISED ZONING ORDINANCE SHALL BE AMENDED,AS FOLLOWS,TO-WIT:
I.
50.31.060
Density,Area,Yard and Height Regulations
Lot coverage maximum for all uses shall be 35% except that buildings used solely for storage
and/or warehousing operations may occupy no more than 50%of the area of the lot.
The minimum front yard setback shall be 60 feet except that any yard area abutting Interstate 29 shall
be considered a rear yard.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
