BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,SOUTH DAKOTA: Whereas,the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the year 2004 will be impacted by the acceptance of the bids per June 8, 2004 minutes for the Senior Citizen Center Project an official approval to spend $13,795 additional money and Whereas,the City of Brookings has received a donation from the Senior Citizens for additional ,expenditures of $579.00,And Whereas, an employee is retiring from Parks and Forestry requiring a transfer between departments to pay accumulated benefits, Whereas, a portion of an employees salary was budgeted for payment from the City Manager's Department but was paid in full from the City Clerk's Department, Whereas,there is a need to adjust the special assessment budget to respond to the actual revenues and expenditures being experienced in fiscal year 2004, and BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City Manager be authorized to make the following budget adjustments: Budget Amendment#x, 2004 Budget Public Improvements Revenues Account#286 Description Change Miscellaneous Revenue 579 Special Assessment Revenue Account#280 Description Change Current—SA 125,000 General Fund Expenditures Account#101 Expenditure Description Change City Manager (13,887) City Clerk 13,887 Parks (5,000) Recreation (5,000) Forestry 10,000 Special Assessment Expenditures Account#280 Expenditure Description Change Street&Sidewalk Improvements 125,000 75%2nd Penny Fund Expenditures Account#286 Expenditure Description Change Senior Citizen Center 14,374 Total supplemental appropriation 13,795 This Ordinance is declared to be for the support of the municipal government and its existing public institutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication. All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
