An Ordinance Amending Section 86-43 Of The Code Of Ordinances Of The City Of
Brookings, South Dakota And Pertaining To The Position Of Ex Officio Member Of The Utility
Board Of The City Of Brookings, South Dakota.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH
DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. 86-43. Ex Officio Member. The city manager, or a designee of the city manager, shall
serve as an ex officio member of the Utility Board so that the council may at all times be fully
advised of the proceedings of the utility board. The city manager,or designee, as ex officio
member shall not be counted for purposes of determination of a quorum and shall not be entitled to
vote or take any official action on matters before the board.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
