AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS PROHIBITING THE
OPERATION OF IMPROPERLY REPAIRED OR ADJUSTED VEHICLES IN THE
CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA,AS FOLLOWS:
I.
82-570. Operation of improperly repaired or adjusted vehicle prohibited.
No person shall drive or move on any street or highway of the city any motor vehicle, unless
the equipment upon the vehicle is in good working order and adjustment and the vehicle is in such
safe mechanical condition as not to endanger the driver or other occupant or any person upon the
street or highway.
II.
Any or all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
