AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BROOKINGS ORDINANCE SECTION 82-302
AND PERTAINING TO THE REQUIREMENT THAT SPEED OF A VEHICLE BE
REASONABLE UNDER THE EXISTING CONDITIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA,AS FOLLOWS:
I.
82-302. Requirement that speed be reasonable and lawful under statutes.
It is unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle on a street or highway located in this
state at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions then existing, or at
speeds in excess of those established by this article or established by the city.
II.
Any or all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
