An Ordinance Amending Section 62-34 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Brookings, South Dakota and Pertaining to the Terms of Office for the Park
and Recreation Board in the City of Brookings, South Dakota.
Be It Ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, as
follows:
Sec. 62-34. Terms of office.
Members of the park and recreation board shall serve three-year terms, except the high
school and college student members shall be appointed for terms of one year each. The terms
of office for members serving three-year terms shall be established so the term of one member
shall expire each year for three years, and the terms of two members shall expire each year for
two years. All terms shall expire on the date of the first regular meeting of the city council in
May.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
