Minutes of Sustainability Council meeting Wednesday January 9, 2019, 4:00 p.m., room 300
Present: Robert McGrath, Stephanie Aure, Paul Peterson, Norma Nusz-Chandler, Jennifer
McLaughlin, Robin Buterbaugh, Betty Beer, Nels Granholm. City Staff: Angie Ritter
Absent: Jane Hegland, Mike Lockrem, Shelly Brandenburger and Caleb Vukovich
The meeting was called to order by chair Jennifer McLaughlin
Norma moved and Bob seconded that the Agenda be approved. Passed unanimously
Bob moved and Norman seconded that the July 11, 2018 minutes be approved. Passed.
Stephanie moved and Robin seconded that the December minutes be approved. Passed.
Paul moved and Bob seconded that the 2018 Annual Report be approved as read. Passed.
Stephanie moved and Nels seconded that the 2019 goals be approved as amended after
discussion (attached). Passed.
Jennifer asked the group to send Spring Green Drinks ideas to her.
There were no updates for reports on Local Foods, Big Sioux River, Liaisons, Legislative
