Call to Order Lisbeth Solum calls to order. Present: Paula Carson, Linda Purrington, Lisbeth Solum, Abigail Ramsbottom, Meredith Weiland Stacey Claussen Present. 2. Approval of Agenda Motion to make an amendment to the agenda to discuss Pickleball windscreen and committee reports. Paula Carson motions to approve agenda with amendments, seconded by Linda Purrington. Meredith Weiland motions to approve agenda, seconded by Linda Purrington. Motion passes. 3. Approval of Minutes Motion by Linda Purrington, seconded by Meredith Weiland. Motion passes. 5. Old Business A. Skate Park Committee Update Abigail Ramsbottom and Paula Carson shared updates. Primary update is Ramsbottom will be the contact person for the project. Groundbreaking is delayed to Spring 2026, and Les has been formally contacted by the BPAC. B. Dakota Nature Park | RFP Approval Weiland reviewed the edited draft of Call for Proposals. Only one edit needed. Motion to approve Kate Treiber and seconded by Meredith Weiland. Motion passes. C. Wall Mural Final BPAC sponsored mural. Unveiled on August 21, 2025. Congrats! D. Third Floor Prints Betty Beer absent. Stacy to report: Images and frames are nearly ready. Looking for help to install the works. The commission may need to contract someone to install or perhaps someone from the city . Total cost for frames was just over $262. Ramsbottom sent a label text for people to review. Approval to occur at the next meeting. 5. New Business A. New items: Pickleball windscreen. Windscreen tore again. Terry from Outlaw Graphics fixed the windscreen at no charge. Screen was removed by the Parks Department; Outlaw Graphics has not yet been contacted regarding the new tear. Purrington to follow up with Outlaw Graphics. Discussion tabled to the next meeting. BPAC Commission Presentation. BPAC to present to the City Council the commission’s goals, challenges, successes. Solum will do the presentation and Weiland will help with the presentation. B. Membership discussion. Solum shared the new structure for commission membership. City reviewed the applicants and Solum shared the potential members with the commission. Donna Merkt and Matt Linder. Treiber makes a motion to submit both candidates for council approval. Weiland seconded the motion. Motion carries. 6. Date of Next Full Meeting A. Next Meeting: Monday, October 20, 2025 at 12pm 6. Adjournment Paula Carson made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Ramsbottom.
