1. The meeting was called to order at 12:02pm
2. Approval of Agenda
3. Approval of minutes
A motion to approve the agenda and minutes was made by Matt, seconded by Ramona. The
motion carried by the following votes:

Special Olympics Torch Run May 29th, 2025 at 10:00am

d. Publicity coordinator
-Class is complete. Class had an ice cream social with Sammi, teacher, to wrap up the class. Very
positive reviews. Would we want to hold another ASL 1 class in the fall? Library has reserved some
tentative dates in case it is determined to move forward. Moving forward looking in to organizations to
partner with to help head/fund future classes

Dakotah Bank Center remodeling bathrooms. Would like committee to review plans for
input in a functional capacity.

6. Work Plan Item:
Global Digital Access Awareness Month Proclamation May 27, 2025 @ 6:00pm.
7. Events/Publicity Discussion (Social Media Campaign)
a. In regards to brochures and merch to hand out, email any ideas to Lynda prior to next
meeting. Discussion of brochures including QR code/Links to resources
b. Speaker on disabilities: Billie Sutton
I. Shelly Bayer with Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility at SDSU. They are
willing to fund the speaker fee and assist in organizing.
8. Next meeting is May 22nd at 12:00PM, hybrid format.
