RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS ON PROJECT 2025-07STI
FREIGHT ON BOARD ASPHALT MATERIALS
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings opened bids for 2025-07STI Freight on Board Asphalt
Material Project on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 1:30 pm at the Brookings City & County
Government Center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings received the following bid for the 2025-07STI Freight
on Board Asphalt Material: Bowes Construction, Inc, in the amount of $89,630.00.
WHEREAS, the low bid was approximately equal to the Engineer's Estimate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the low bid of $89,630.00 for Bowes Construction Inc., be accepted.
2. The City Manager is authorized to sign the contract documents for this project
and any further contract documents and change orders which may be required.
