Dear City Clerk and Council,
Please vote in favor of allowing Brookings to become the first city in SD to honor the late Rev. Martin Luther
King with a street name when it comes to a vote! The memory of Dr King should be held with great
admiration for his peace -based leadership for many generations to come.

Dear Brookings City Council and Brookings City Clerk,
I am asking you to vote in support of the street naming in honor of MILK.
Once again, Brookings can take the lead on correcting an egregious error. Honoring Dr. King will once again make me
proud of the leadership of our community.
Respectfully yours,
Patty Bacon
