BROOKINGS CITY COUNCIL RETREAT
JANUARY 31, FEBRUARY 1-2, 2024
The Brookings City Council held a special retreat on January 31, February 1-2, 2024 at
the Dacotah Bank Center with the following City Council members present: Mayor
Oepke Niemeyer, Council Members Wayne Avery, Brianna Doran, Andrew Rasmussen,
Bonny Specker, Holly Tilton Byrne, and Nick Wendell. City Attorney Steve Britzman,
City Manager Paul Briseno, and City Clerk Bonnie Foster were also present.
City Council Retreat. The City Council received updates from the City's Volunteer
Boards, Committees, and Commissions, and held discussion on the City's Vision,
Mission, Values Statements, the City's 2024 Budget, the Capital Improvement Plan, and
the City's Strategic Plan. No action was taken.
Retreat was adjourned at 1:07 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2024.
