The Brookings Airport Board was called to order by Brady Klocker on Thursday, April
18, 2024 at 3:30 PM in Conference Room #241, Second Floor. Members present were
Dan Krogstad, Lynn Riedesel, and Klocker. Absent were Brian VanLiere and Isaac
Wilde. Also present were Airport Manager Lucas Dahl.
Item #1 - Roll Call
Item #2 - (Riedesel/Krogstad) Motion to approve the agenda. All present voted aye.
MOTION CARRIED.
Item #3 - (Krogstad/Riedesel) Motion to approve the March 21, 2024 minutes. All
present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED.
Item #4 - Airport Manager's Report - Lucas gave an update on the new hangar.
Brookings Airport received the 2023 Airport of the Year award for Large General
Aviation from the Office of Aeronautics. SDSU and airport staff gave a tour to
Advance students. Snow equipment is all put away and mowing equipment is all
ready to go. New gate card reader should be installed shortly along with the new
camera system.
