Item #4 - Airport Manager's Report - Due to removal of trees and brush, there hasn't
been as much wildlife to deal with. BMU's manhole project has been complete. The
Parallel Taxiway Project is discretionary money so Helms is hoping that the project
can still be done in 2024. However, if the funds are not available until Fall, then the
project will be bid in the Fall/Winter and the construction will be in 2025. The
extension of the taxiway will hopefully be included in the project also. Security
cameras have been purchased by the City and will be installed at the airport. Hay
Lease was bid with 4 bids received. LNJ Farms came in with the high bid of $143.01.

the City Council. Dahl spoke with Helms regarding a GPS approach and they think
this would be a good idea. Dahl will talk with Helms again about a timeline.
