Resolution Awarding Bids on Agricultural Land Rent
Whereas, the City of Brookings opened bids for approximately 60 acres of Agricultural
Hay /Pasture Land Rent for City -owned parcel located in Section 21 -T 1 10 -R50 on Tuesday,
October 18, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Brookings City Hall; and
Whereas, the City of Brookings has received the following bids for Agricultural Hay /Pasture
Land: LNJ Farms & Ranch, Aurora, SD - $75.00 /acre, John Moriarty, Brookings, SD - $70.00 /acre, Lyle
Johnson, Brookings, SD - $55.00 per acre.
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved that the high bid of LNJ Farms & Ranch, Aurora, SD for the high
bid of $75.00 per acre be accepted.
Passed and approved this 25th day of October 201 1.
