Officer Updates: a.Chair ●Matt: Updated on White Cane Awareness, that permit was approved quickly and is all set. ●Matt: Submitted final proclamation to city for NDEAM. b.Vice Chair ●No updates at this time. c.Recorder ●No updates at this time. d.Publicity coordinator ●No updates at this time. e.City ADA coordinator ●Susan: Reported that Ali and Izzy have expiring terms, but both would like to continue on and that request has been submitted to the mayor for approval. ●Susan: Mentioned that Matt submitted feedback on city policies and that has been shared with city manager Paul. f.County ADA coordinator ●No updates at this time. g.SDSU Liaison ●Lynda: Met with Nancy Hartenhoff-Crooks to discuss BDAC. ●Lynda: Shared that Mark will be presenting on campus during NDEAM. ●Lynda: Announced that Sarah Lesnar is the new ADA coordinator on campus. h.Human Rights Commission Liaison ●Charlie: Reminded about free Common Read events that have already started. ●Charlie: Announced brand new working group under the HRC for the Indigenous community, which is planning an upcoming event. ●Charlie: Shared that HRC is still accepting nominations for the Human Rights Award. 6.
