E911 MEETING
Thursday, January 20, 2022; 8:30 a.m.

Board members present: Jacob Meshke (Assistant City Manager), and Ryan Krogman
(County Commission).
Others present: Dave Erickson (BPD), Pete Bolzer (Fire Dept.), JoLynn Longville
(Communications), Marty Stanwick (SO), Bob Hill (County Emergency
Management/Zoning), and Stacy Steffensen (Commission Dept. Director).
Members Absent: Paul Briseno (City Manager) and Angela Boersma (County
Commission),
Call to order: Meeting was called to order by R. Krogman. J. Meshke/ D. Erickson
moved to approve the minutes of the November 2021 meeting. All present voted
aye. Motion approved.
Bills: D.Erickson reviewed non-recurring bills from November 2021 through December
2021. J. Meshke/ D. Erickson moved to approve non-recurring bills. All present
voted aye. Motion approved.
Quarterly Numbers: J. Longville provided an overview of the quarterly numbers.
Old Business:
Update on promotions:
D. Erickson updated the committee on two lead dispatchers were chosen. James
DeBough and Morgan Brandenburg
New Business:
Update on Higher Ground Recorder
D. Erickson explained to the committee our current recorder failed and was temporary
fix. This is a budget item for replacement for this year. Sioux Falls Two Way will be
installing this sometime in the near future.
Pictomerty Purchase Agreement: S. Steffensen mentioned the close of the 3-year
partners contract regarding flyovers. Partners include: City, County, E911, and BMU.
D. Erickson stated the $9,792.50 has been budgeted for this year. D. Erickson/ J.
Meshke moved to approve the Pictomerty Purchase Agreement. All present voted
aye. Motion approved.
Annual Inventory Review:
D. Erickson updated the committee on the inventory list additions.
Member reports:
B. Hill updated the committee on the install of a new repeater to be installed in Aurora
due to issues.
B. Hill updated the committee on the CO2 Pipeline
J. Meshke updated the committee on the building project.
♦ Next meeting: Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 8:30 AM.
♦ Regular quarterly meetings are held in January, April, July, and October on the
third Thursday of the month. Budget discussion is held in May.
