The meeting was called to order at 12:02 pm 2. Approval of Agenda: a. A motion was made by Sternhagen, seconded by Weiss. The motion carried by the following votes: Yes Weiss, Doran, Grendler, Sternhagen, Crevier, and Stauff No: --added July 26 ADA Day to the agenda 3. Approval of Minutes: a. A motion to approve March Minutes was made by Weiss, seconded by Stauff. The motion carried by the following votes: Yes Weiss, Doran, Grendler, Sternhagen, Crevier, and Stauff b. A motion to approve informal April Meeting Minutes was made by Grendler, seconded by Sternhagen. The motion carried by the following votes: Yes Weiss, Doran, Grendler, Sternhagen, Crevier, and Stauff No: 4. Officer Updates: a. Chair: will send out doodle poll regarding meeting time, apologize for not sending it out sooner, Introduction of Karen Buman—community member interested in the committee b. Vice Chair-Community Band is back, spoke with Kathy and we are sponsoring July 18th concert c. Recorder: no report d. Publicity coordinator: will discuss community band later e. County ADA coordinator: no report f. City ADA coordinator : application for new person will be added to agenda for next month. Showed the award, need to set a date for upcoming meetings as the city officers are closed on Fridays. Need to finalize the update to the by-laws—Matt, Briana and Susan will review and bring to the whole committee in the future. 5. Public Promotions: a. 2020 Awards i. Setting time with the Pheasant for the week of June 7th, we will post on social media b. July 26 ADA day i. Kathy at community band will advertise that we are sponsoring that day. We can put whatever we want in their handouts, we can make a statement at the event. c. Wiess motioned to spend $150 on a banner, Sternhagen seconded. Motion passed with the following vote: Yes Weiss, Doran, Grendler, Sternhagen, Crevier, and Stauff No: d. Sternhagen made a motion to spend $450 on promotional baskets for our partners, Stauff second. Motion passed with following votes: Yes Weiss, Doran, Grendler, Sternhagen, Crevier, and Stauff No: e. Motion to send $600 on ice cream for community band event was table to research prices. Grendler will call to find out. f. We would like to approach BATA to provided transportation that day, Sternhagen will get pricing g. Matt will confirm sponsorship with Kathy h. Mayoral Proclamation on July 13 meeting 6. Committee/Taskforce Updates: a. Marketing Sub-committee—no update b. Accessibility Taskforce—no update 7. Announcement: a. None 8. Next meeting: a.
