Attendance: Rachel Holm, Matthew Weiss, Brianna Doran, Mark Sternhagen, Connie Lemke,
Susan Rotert, Laura Littlecott, Nadine Gjerde
Chair Sternhagen called the meeting to order at 12:02pm
Doran moved to add “Businesses” to agenda, Lemke seconded.
Motion passed
Weiss moved to approve new agenda, Doran seconded
Motion passed

SDSU Liason welcome
Social Media update
• Various city council members thanked the committee for their work, our social media
reach is growing, and have received good feedback on the posts and ornaments
• Looking to feature a collage of all photos taken with the “What if it was me” merch and
post on social media
Snow Removal
Goals/Ideas:
• Look at sharing stories of the importance of snow removal and points of improvement
with city snow removal (if needed)
• Bring awareness to private parking lot owners and public spots where snow should not
be dumped into
• Be a part of the street dept snow removal brochure
Budget
• Weiss moved to create the opportunity to spend the remaining budget of the
committee through an online allocation process by December 23rd with two-thirds
board approval, Holm seconded

Public Promotions
• What if it was me taskforce is brainstorming public promotion events and ideas for the
campaign
• Rocky Mountain ADA has various brochures available for order
• SDSU is hosting various Diversity Academies with March focused on service animal and
mental health sessions
Other Items
• Businesses:
o Our committee is a resource to businesses who want to receive an audit or
ideas on how they can be more inclusive and serve the community of people
with disabilities better.
• Matt Simet from Advance will speak at the next meeting
• The picture with the Mayor will be postponed
