Resolution Authorizing Signatory on Grant Agreement and to Certify Payment Request
Whereas,the City of Brookings applied for a Community Development Block Grant for the
construction of an addition to the Boys & Girls Club of Brookings facility; and
Whereas, the City of Brookings was awarded a grant from the Community Development Block
Grant Program in the amount of$412,000;for purposes of construction of an addition to the
Boys & Girls Club of Brookings facility; and
Whereas, it is necessary to designate an authorized representative to execute the grant
agreement and to certify and sign payment requests.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the City of Brookings, SD that the City Council of Brookings
does hereby designate the Mayor as the authorized representative of the City to do all things
on its behalf to execute the grant agreement and certify and sign payment requests for the
Community Development Block Grant.
Adopted this 26th day of March, 2013.
