Awards (MLK, Butler) – Coordinate nomination, selection, and communication with stakeholders iii. Legislative Liaison – Report on bills related to human rights and recommend HRC positions and communication; present to legislature when Page 1 City of Brookings needed iv. Potlucks/Community Events – Organize logistics and communicate with speakers/presenters (cultural conversations, town halls, etc.) v. Common Read – Serve on the Common Read Committee and organize community event vi. International Outreach – Coordinate new programming/outreach for international population vii. MEI Scorecard – Review scorecard and assemble materials as needed; promote efforts to improve score viii. Inclusivity Team – Coordinate with community industry partners to enhance inclusivity training opportunities. Coordinate with SDSU’s Inclusive Community Collaborative. ix. Trainings/Complaint Process – Review HRC complaint process, coordinate renters’ rights trainings for renters/landlords 6. Executive/Reports a. BPD b. School i. Vande Weerd c. SDSU d.
