BMU will work with private property owners to replace their individual lead service line. Since this will
require access to both private property for excavation and the interior of the building for plumbing
termination inside the building, a temporary construction easement will be required from each property
owner. BMU has been actively engaged with these same property owners recently during lead and copper
water sampling. The potential for a lead service line replacement program has been broached with
property owners during this sampling effort.
IV. Cost Estimate
The Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC) is $920,000.
