(Klocker/Riedesel) Motion to approve the Wilde Air Service Aerial Application Permit. All present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED. Items #6 - Approval of an SDSU Foundation Temporary Land Lease - This is for a potential hangar. This lease will be to "hold" the land, and won't allow anyone else the opportunity to build on the land. This is a 120 day lease and will not require City Council approval due to the short term of the lease. (Klocker/Smidt) Motion to approve the SDSU Foundation Temporary Land Lease. All present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED. Item #7 - Airport Manager's Report - Sommerfeld reported that the PAPI's are still not working and Muth has been working on finding and fixing the issue. Hopefully this will be done within the next couple of weeks. There will be a C 17 arriving at the airport this Fall. The aircraft is big for the airfield, so they will have to work out some details. Some of the crew are SDSU alum and they will be completing a flyover at an SDSU game on September 11 th The pilots would like to open up the aircraft and make it available for people to look at. Sommerfeld would also like to do some other events and bring in some additional people for the day. Item #8 - Helm's Updates - The seal coat/pavement maintenance project bid letting was held this week. 5 bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Farner Asphalt Sealers out of Wisconsin. Their bid came in significantly lower than the Engineer's Estimate. Items #9 - SDSU Report - Riedesel reported that SDSU has been busy. They plan to replace some of their current aircraft.
